HAB2 High Altitude Balloon Tracker Board with LoRa module.
This board allows for a minimal part count high altitude balloon tracker to be built. If you powering it from 2 x AAA Lithium batteries the only other parts you need are a 3.3V 8Mhz Arduino Pro Mini, some 0.1″ pin headers (normally supplied with the Pro Mini) a UBLOX Max8Q GPS and some wire. The 434Mhz DRF1278F lora device and the required 0.05″ pin headers for mounting are included.

The HAB2 software will send its location payloads in LoRa and FSK RTTY, there is an option for FSK RTTY only mode. In addition the HAB2 software allows for remote control of the tracker in flight. Whilst primarily designed for use in Pico balloons, the board can be used as a tracker for the larger 30,000M + balloons. You can attach an external tracker antenna by fitting an SMA edge socket and the tracker PCBs also comes with a GPS breakout PCB so you can connect the GPS by a short cable and have the wire antenna on the outside of the payload. The board can be fitted with a TC74 temperature sensor.
