DRF1278F Lost Model Locator Kit
This is a Mini-Kit to build a LoRa GPS tracker. The Mini-Kit includes the 434Mhz DRF1278F LoRa modules, the PCB and the small parts to needed to build a trackers transmitter or receiver.
The mini kit is a collection of all the the small parts required to build the DRF1278F Lost Model Tracker.
The contents of the kit are listed in the file “Locator2 Kit Contents.XLS” that can be found in the ‘Parts’ folder here;
The kit does not contain, Arduino Pro Mini, GPS, Serial Programming adapter, wire or solder.
Included with the tracker PCBs is a Version 4 display backpack board, which allows displays such as ILI9341 and Nokia 5110 to be connected via an I2C connection. See the display repository here for code and details.
Although this project does not require refined surface mount soldering skills, the board is a compromise between size, low cost and ease of assembly. The board is small and is not going to be a suitable assembly project for a beginner.
